"Faux" is simply the french word for false.  Thus, the goal in faux painting is to use paint to create a false impression of another medium.  "Faux painting" has become a generic term that describes many different styles and finishes including, but not limited to, Venetian and tinted plasters, Tuscan or old world finishes, and various glazing techniques.  Whatever texture or technique you are looking for, there is a faux finish for your needs and desires. The Painting Process When you call me I will meet with you personally to discuss your painting project, answer questions you might have and make suggestions that will facilitate your needs.  After you feel confident with our suggestions, we can proceed with painting your own custom sample boards using specific colours. This process takes some time but is well worth it since this allows you to visualize what your finish will look like on your walls before it is applied. After you are confident of the finish as it appears on the sample board then we will be ready to go ahead with your painting project.
